Here is what the organisers think of Serbia as a country that will open the 2009. season: "We had some much good time and fun in 2008 in Kragujevac, that we have decided to open our 2009 championship with this round. And if you still don't know about Serbia, just ask the drifters who were there in 2008 and you will understand what you have missed!!! Kragujevac city located south of Belgrade will show you how car fanatics and friendly are Serbian people. You can expect all the drifters fighting for the championship to come over, with in front, the return of the King of Europe 2006, Nicolas Heyer. 19. July 2009. - Styling and Drift Race 20 km from Belgrade. Drift track "Senaja"

Drift Open Championship of Serbia - Grand Prix Mladenovac.
At the 22nd kilometer from the toll ramp "Bubanj Potok" (Belgrade), there is an exit to Mladenovac and Mali Pozarevac. Sunday, 19 July, in 15 h, there will be an Open Championship of Serbia in the Drift and Styling Exhibition. The program will also complement Drift TAXI, attractive go-go girls with the legendary DJ Marchez, the performance of ATV and motorcycles, and much more entertaining program.

Stathis Papargilopoulos, winner of the second place in King of Europe Kragujevac 2008. The well-known Greek DVD TV Drift Wars,  is in Mali Pozarevac 19th July as a judge. His arrival was confirmed, as well as several Greek drifters who confirmed to take place in competition. One of the best drivers in addition to Stathis, Nikos Kouroupis will show his skills in the Toyota AE86 SR20Det.

In addition to the Greeks, we expect the arrival of drifters from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and for the first time - from Slovenia.

On the track, free tyre service is provided to all of the competitors.

In the evening, column of drifters will drive from the drift track, to the city center - City Administration building,
where they will park their vehicles and take a part in grand opening of King of Europe 2009. manifestation.

Saturday and Sunday - 9th & 10th May 2009.
will be held the most famous European drift competition "King of Europe".

Side by side with most Serbian drifters, many European professionals will take a part in this competition. This is the second season in which Serbia will have the honor to open the first round of King of Europe. Last year, we got the best drifters from Europe, and this year we are announcing the arrival of many more drift "legends". All drifter fans will have the opportunity to really enjoy their skills.
